Patrick did a great job figuring out what was the problem with our system. He was able to explain it to us so we could understand and he recommended a solution.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system, found that the air handler would operate and cool the house, but would not do that with commands from the thermostat. Removed power from the system and removed the ecobee from the wall. Jumped the thermostat wires to ensure that everything outside of the thermostat is operating as it should. Air handler is heating and cooling as designed without the thermostat. Built estimate to replace thermostat with a communicating system. Install team will be out tomorrow to rewire and install the communicating thermostat.
Dispatched for possible repair on reversing valve solenoid coil. After arrival and further investigation into the issue it was determined that another company has provided multiple services and changed out the indoor coil in May 2025 and in February before the coil was replaced there was refrigerant add to the system. The other company came out a few weeks ago and diagnosed that the system had a leak in the outdoor unit and that they can repair the issue but there is possibly other issues. The other company recommended for replacement of the system or repair with no guarantee that it would not happen again. That is when they also recommended that LBA services can also be called out to fix the issue since we installed the system in 2020, and that it has parts warranty. Evaluation completed with customer. Will upload pictures on wear and tear on system. Coil is rusted on system. Drain pan is full with water. Leaking into heat exchanger. 9-18-25 change my call for service call
Install a transformer for the zone board, also installed a new thermostat on the second floor. All zones are working correctly and the system is operational. The water heater is release pressure from the pressure safety device. This is indicated the water heaters pressure is to high from to much sediment on the burner part of the water heater. Installed new zone board, reprogrammed the board and the thermostat to operate correctly with the board.
